Sarah Burton's womanswear designs stay true to the McQueen style, but add a softer, more feminine element... we love it !

Sarah Burton, who inherited the mantle at Alexander McQueen after the designer tragically took his own life last March, showed her first collection at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. Burton’s collection included dramatic elements, from layers of feathers to daring silhouettes. According to reviewers, she managed to both maintain McQueen’s signature look and bring her own touches. The Guardian called Burton’s inaugural show “unmistakably the house of McQueen, but there were new, more feminine shapes too.”

Burton's designs for the spring was very nature inspired, using feathers and butterflies for many of the pieces.
We're sure Lee would love his successor's work !!
Well done BB !
