LVMH buys Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot... I guess we missed something about fashion trends !

Minute Mode - Bernard Arnault and Louis-Dreyfus took possession of three ready-to-wear brands: Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot .
Now owning 51% share of the GSPC group- including Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot-LVMH and Louis-Dreyfus have become the major shareholders. The founders Evelyne Chétrite (Sandro) and Judith Milgrom (Maje), altogether with the GSPC leadership team, own now 49% of the shares, making them minority shareholders. However, they remain at the helm of the company.
While LVMH owns mostly luxury brands (Louis Vuitton, Celine, Kenzo, Fendi ...), the acquisition of the GSPC would be "a way to diversify its investments," but by no means a "strategic shift" according to Serge Carreira , senior lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris. According to the communiqué, the purpose of this acquisition is to enable the group GSPC faster deployment abroad.
