The sun will always eventually come back...
But this morning I woke up to find an amazingly shiny sun up in the sky...
Yesterday, as depressed as a starving girl on diet in a cupcake shop, I couldn't even get up from my cozy sofa or consider doing anything else but watching E! and Fashion TV.
A new day has come and the sun is back for good, I can feel it !
I am in such a high level of excitement; My brain starts operating again and it's quickly reviewing all these wonderful articles I read during last winter's rainy days!

Agyness's sister designs for Uniqlo
Easy to wear, I personally think it would look pretty awesome teamed up with a micro denim short, a skinny jeans or a leather trousers. Starting this Friday, April 30th, they are sure to go fast, so trade your high heels for a pair of ballerinas and run to the closest Uniqlo shop
Cigarette filters made with pig's blood
Muslims and Jews all over the world are pissed off with tobacco companies, as a book by cute blonde Dutch author Christien Meindertsma has revealed that pig’s blood is used in the production of cigarette filters: the haemoglobin inside absorbs some of the cancerous chemicals in tobacco smoke.

My N.1 Fashion inspiration
I know , most of you will say that she shouldn't even bother wearing clothes.
She is incredible, enigmatic, model, actress, movie director, singer, sensual, mysterious...
Scandalous... With the song "Je t'aime, moi non plus.." sung in French by both Gainsbourg and Birkin to a background of increasing sexual moans and groans from Birkin and culminating in her simulated orgasm at the song's conclusion.
Amazingly perfect... when she played the title role in Elektra, directed by Philippe Calvario in France in 2006
Generous... with her hard work with Amnesty International on immigrant welfare and AIDS issues.
So stylish that Hermes named and designed a handbag — the Birkin bag — for her in 1984. On flight from Paris to London, Jane Birkin pulled her Hermes datebook out of her bag and all her papers fell on the floor. She complained to the passenger sitting next to her that the book should have pockets. That passenger was the chairman of Hermes; Jean-Louis Dumas, and after hearing her complain he created the Birkin bag.
She shared her life with John Barry, Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Doillon
In a word she led the life with we are all dreaming of !
What is intriguing and amazing with Jane is that she has become the fashion Icon she doesn't even know she is !
Her penchant for going bra-less and wearing skirts so short they scarcely covered her rear end further enhanced her image as a free-spirited product of her time.
Her style is today revered by the likes of Alexa Chung and her daughters Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, all of whom emulate her boyish, sexy chic.
Genetic hybrid of the Venus de Milo and Mick Jagger, she inspires my style and helps my crazy-self to slow down my sometimes hectic pace of life, thanks to her spellbinding melodies.
Song of the Day
I think it's much better than the original

Giles Deacon's officially in at Ungaro
This morning JCreport Editor Jason Campbell tweeted:
It's official Giles Deacon is in at Ungaro.
He is following Giambattista Valli, Peter Dundas, Vincent Darre, Esteban Cortazar and then (I know that it always brings the LOLs) Lindsay and Estrella.
We are pretty confidant and almost sure that Giles is going to do an amazing job. It is quite reassuring to know that he cannot make things worst.

Yaya Herman Dune - When the sun rose up this morning
Alright, I think it's time to share a little bit more of my world with you, I mean the less "superficial " part of it!
You know this feeling , when you like something or someone so much, that you can't be bothered to share it with anybody else... You want to keep it your own!
This is the way I feel about Herman Dune. David's voice makes me travel indescribable journeys. I close my eyes and I can catch the scent of freshly cut grass, no matter where I am, my life pauses for a moment... I love to think that I could have written the lyrics he sings ( with a little help from God and some more skills that are non-existent at the time being). When listening to "I Wish That I Could See You Soon", "My Baby is Afraid of Sharks" or "Whatever Burns The Best Baby" ( I could just go on and on and on with dozen of incredible songs), I just feel like David is a really close friend, I'd have told my story to, then magically, amazing tunes would have been created as a wonderful gift to me.
I know, I know, it's a little bit weird to feel that close to an artist you don't even personally know! But I guess, that's the magic of art, of music , of writing. He says his music has been inspired by the songs of Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Harry Belafonte, Ray Charles, Fats Domino, The Coasters or Leonard Cohen... Meant to be GENIUS.
So here you go, enjoy, play it again, again and again & I promise to feed you every now and then with you doze of Hermane Dune:
Vogue
Even though Sue Sylvester is slightly too mean a character to become my favorite, I must admit that I've simply and merely been stunned by this video remake.
Check out this almost flawless shot-by-shot comparison of Glee's video version of Vogue and Madonna's original!

Vanessa Bruno Spring-Summer 2010
Being a muse doesn't have sense anymore... It's become rare to see a real muse, that creates inspiration... a free bird lost in her own little world... you don't try to be a muse , you are a muse.
The word muse originates from Greek mythology. The Greek gods Zeus and Mnemosyne had nine daughters called the Muses. The nine daughters were of one being in heart, spirit and thought. If the muses loved a man, then the man's worries instantly disappeared. The man who was loved by the muses was considered to be more sacred than a holy man.
Just like Brigitte Bardot to Vadim , Jane Birkin to Serge Gainsbourg, Yoko Ono to John Lennon, Marilyn to Arthur Miller, Lou Doillon has become Vanessa Bruno's muse. She is a creative soul that avoids cliches and trends, she just leads her life beyond compare.

Posh does Vogue Germany
It reminds us of Harper's Bazaar's cover and we absolutely love that Posh gets taken a little bit out of her element as she poses in icky places like a diner (with actual food!)...

The pop stars before fame
In 2006, a certain Stefani Germanotta, shockingly simple, was singing in a piano bars in New York. You can already hear the touch of madness in her voice but the look is closer to Jennifer Beals in Flashdance than the futuristic allien it has become.
In 2004, Justin Bieber part in a singing contest in Ontario America (his hometown), he interprets Respect by Aretha Franklin.
In 2004, Rihanna, 15, attends a beauty pageant in Barbados and massacres Hero by Mariah Carey. She won the contest and left his native country a year later to pursue her career in Los Angeles.
In 1994, Beyonce Knowles, all dressed in green, participates in a TV show showing young talents. Here are the Girls Tyme. Looking like an energetic Tina Turner under the influence of Redbull, Queen B is only 12 years old at the time. Since then, she has smoothed her hair and opted for more subtle outfits.Wise choice...

Accro a Isabel Marant... Tout Simplement
You don't like it , you love it ... if not , it just means you are silently craving for it girl!
Guidelines for mixing prints
1. Vary the scale. Mix a small neat print with a splashier one. Or an eye-popper with one that’s more neutral.
2. Stay within the same color family.
3. Mix up the fabrics, the weights — a rough-textured fabric with a more refined one. Somehow a nubby, slubby fabric pairs up more naturally with a flat weave than do two smooth-textured fabrics.
4. Toss in some polka dots, stripes or even leopard prints, which are easier to mix with other patterns because they’re simple and graphic. And they’re familiar to the eye.
5. Consider the accessories. Though it’s fun to tote a print bag with a print frock, you can tone down the brights with a great tan leather bag or pair of sandals. Straw works, too.
We think the first skirt is to die for !
