There’s a certain dainty darkness surrounding the Barbara Palvin Dansk AW 2011 editorial. Despite its floral garden backdrop, Palvin’s heavy eyeliner and somber facial expressions contribute to the air of murkiness.
All gloom aside, Emma Tempest’s lens sheds light on the shoot which features the sizzling selections of Sam Ranger and designs by Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane and Burberry Prorsum. Moving through a variety of unusual styles from bold, floral prints to long knitted sweaters, the shoot features a blend of feminine yet mature looks that all women aspire to and all men admire.
