Christian Louboutin Stilettos For Charity

Christian Louboutin is using his star power for good.
The designer has created a new charitable stiletto with 100% of the proceeds going towards charity!
The limited edition Peace of Shoe will help benefit the Garmeen Foundation which works to reduce poverty by providing business opportunities in poverty stricken areas.
Turns out Louboutin was inspired by the book Creating a World Without Poverty by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, who’s also the founder of the Garmeen Foundation.
The heels are covered in silk satin and feature hand stitched trimming and an embroidered Indian ribbon. But if you want a pair, you’ll have to act fast as only 33 will be up for sale, each personally signed and numbered by Louboutin.
As for the price tag, the shoes retail for $1,495 and are available in Los Angeles, NY, and Miami boutiques in three colors, champagne, lavender, and pink.
Pricey! But for a good cause.
