Alexander McQueen Exhibit to come... Brilliant !

The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is giving the public a chance to see Alexander McQueen's work up close and personal with a new exhibit.
Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty will include designs from the McQueen archives beginning with his graduate show at Central Saint Martins to his final collection from earlier this year as well as pieces from Daphne Guinness and Isabella Blow's private collection.
CEO of the McQueen label Jonathan Akeroyd said:
"We felt it would be a great opportunity to show Lee's work and his incredible contribution to the world of fashion and art. It felt like the right thing to do. Lee loved the museum. It will give us a great opportunity to show Lee's work and the Alexander McQueen brand to a much broader community. It's the greatest tribute and important for his legacy, but it's also an exciting new chapter in the history of the brand."
McQueen's pieces will be on display from May 4th to July 31th, with a launch at the Costume Institute Gala on May 2nd.
Sounds like a great and must see event!
