OC's Carol and Humberto at Kenzo! Opening Ceremony rules !
We are happy to congratulate Opening Ceremony's founders, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, on their appointment as creative directors of Kenzo. Carol and Humberto must be so excited to work with the storied French house, started in 1970 by the legendary Kenzo Takada. As a Japanese designer in Paris, Kenzo brought an inclusive and bright diversity to ready-to-wear and beyond, with indelible ideas such as the wild "Jungle Jap" retail concept. This exuberance in fashion is echoed by Opening Ceremony. Félicitations!

When it comes to fail-safe boutiques—the ones we can pop into any time of year and find JUST what we're hankering for— Opening Ceremony is our own mini Mecca. Owners Carol and Humberto have an eye for not only the most influential (and frenzy-worthy!) designers of the moment but also the select pieces that literally make a collection. As a result, OC scouts the best buyers in the biz, one of them being Kate Foley, whose keen eye definitely extends to her own uncommon dress-code.

Opening Ceremony and A for Apple ... starting next month !
A for apple is a children’s clothing line designed for fashion forward kids ranging from newborns to five-year-olds.The line consists of edgy basis mode of the highest quality eco-friendly materials and organic cottons.
Denise Ho is a Hong Kong based celebrity and editorial fashion stylist and also the Creative Director for A For Apple. She studied Fashion Design of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has lived as well as worked in New York and London.
Jeffrey Chau is the Business Director for A For Apple who is currently engaged in the family garment business. He is a go-getter and a jet-setter who graduated from Columbia University in New York and worked in Taipei and Sydney in different industries.
