A McDonald's manager in Brazil has successfully sued the company over $17,500, claiming that the food he ate made him gain 65 lbs while working there. He says that the free lunches he was given, as well as sampling the food for quality contributed to his weight gain.

McDonald's says that they will appeal the court’s decision, asserting that they serve healthy choices that the manager could have eaten if he wanted to.
While McDonald's is notorious for being unhealthy, we think they might be right on this one. The manager could have eaten the salads or done more to control the portions he ate. Just saying... !

Hong Kong McDonald's To Host Weddings

Instead of feeding each other cake at the reception, recently married Hong Kong couples will now be stuffing Big Macs into each others’ faces post-nuptials! LOL!
Starting January 1 of next year, Hong Kong will create McDonald’s wedding packages for couples who want to get an inexpensive marriage. The packages will include a baked apple pie wedding cake, a dress made out of party balloons, kiddie party favors for guests, and food served up fresh from McDonald’s. Because it’s a family venue, drinking will not be allowed.
The wedding will only cost a few thousand in Hong Kong currency, providing a much cheaper alternative for couples on a budget.
